Jen is a Clinical Psychologist who holds a Master of Clinical Psychology (with Distinction) and Bachelor of Psychology with Honours (First Class). She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
While Jen has a particular interest in working with clients aged 5-25, she welcomes clients of all ages and presentations. Jen has experience working across government and non-government sectors, within schools, hospitals, and community settings, and in private practice.
Jen has an extensive background in child protection, child and youth development, and LGBTIQAP+ issues. She enjoys assisting children, youth, and adults from vulnerable populations and is passionate about prevention and early intervention. Jen brings a warm and laid-back approach to sessions, with an emphasis on first establishing client-therapist rapport to foster strong pathways to change.
Jen has published research in the area of childhood anxiety and comorbid primary headache disorders, as well as a book chapter in the area of development of emotion in children through learning and cognitive pathways.
